Holiday Holdout

December 29th, 2006 by cechols

My apologies for the lack of updates over the holiday season. As it is for everyone, mine has been very busy - with a lot of traveling.

It’s truly been a fine holiday season, though, and I’m incredibly grateful for the family and friends I’ve been blessed with. I hope your holiday has been equally warm and wonderful.

New posts are in the works, so look for them starting the first of the new year.

Here’s wishing you the best for 2007!

New Transformers Trailer

December 20th, 2006 by cechols

Whenever anybody mentions the upcoming film adaptation of Transformers, the first thing I always hear is, “Man, that Michael Bay is going to ruin my favorite cartoon. Why did they have to get that hack piece of crap Michael Bay to direct it?”You’ve heard it, too.

The guy’s no Sidney Lumet; but I don’t think I’d want to see Lumet’s take on Transformers. Check this right now:

Then check the trailer in fan-flipping-tastic high res by clicking here.

All Sony Wants for Christmas…

December 19th, 2006 by cechols

…is a hip, clever viral marketing campaign that moves a few extra PSPs off the shelves this holiday season.

Unfortunately, it looks like they won’t be getting one.

Recently, the innocuously titled alliwantforxmasisapsp.com sprung up - allegedly the work of leet-speaking youths, Charlie and Jeremy.

Charlie, you see, has a PSP. And Jeremy wants one. So the two conspired to create the website, encouraging people everywhere to start “clowning with sum not-so-subtle hints” to parents, girlfriends, etc. to get them to purchase a PSP this Christmas.

Yeah. Not-so-subtle is right.
